I’m liking this adaptation of the manga quite a bit. I really need to read volume three (if it’s even out yet) because at the pace they’re going, they’ll get ahead of me soon. Today, Ichigo fights Orihime’s brother, who then fights off the hollow and kills himself. I’d definately say this is a quality shounen title, in league with Naruto.

Orihime is introduced today and this episode had so much cuteness, not only because of her adorable character design. This show is reminding me a lot of Yu Yu Hakusho as well. I’m glad that it’s staying close to the manga and I hope it continues to do so.

Though I’ve only read the first volume, I really liked the storyline of Bleach. Therefore, I had to give the anime a look. The opening theme is ear-splitting and the ending theme is just ok but the show was good. Basically this episode was about Ichigo, who’s a good fighter with the ability to see ghosts. When a psycho monster that looks like something out of Evangelion appears, a girl shows up and slashes it with her sword. Ichigo later meets the girl (Rukia) again and learns that she’s a shinigami. When the monster returns and attacks Ichigo’s family, Rukia gives Ichigo her powers and he fights it.

These two episodes were so funny. I loved all the parodying they did. The Christmas episode was cute. With only two episodes to go I wonder if they’ll ever get back to plot thay hinted. I doubt that, but if they do then something funny will probably happen.
