I don’t really feel like summarizing. Maybe I will later, but maybe not. I’m feeling a bit sick right now. I’m sure a few others will have excellent summaries available soon. Anyway, I will of course provide thoughts about this, because it was a mostly intriguing episode. First off, I love the new OP. I’ve watched it about five times already and because I couldn’t figure it all out, I used Intervideo to watch bits of it frame by frame. I noticed that the mysterious new girl appears in the OP a couple of times. There might be more if this girl is her, because something about her seems important. Could be the fact that she ran across the screen twice and her face wasn’t shown. Of course I have a secret hope that it’s Tsugumi, but I doubt she’ll be in this season since she’s not on the OP. Technically, her story was finished, but she was still darned cute. I’ll miss Hajime and his appeal as well. I guess I can settle for Ren, who looked lovely on the OP, despite being sliced by random visual effects. I have a good feeling that this series will give focus to Ai’s associates, since they all got featured prominently on the OP. Ren got a lot of screentime this week, but nothing significant was told about him. Even so, I enjoyed this. On the episode itself, I really liked most of it. I was kept in suspense, wondering just what happened to Sumire and what this episode would lead to. Yayoi didn’t even seem to have anyone to get vengeance on. Plus, there was that scene with Ai and the ball that must’ve some significance. She seemed to be concerned over the fact that Ren saw her. I wonder what the ball was. I was hoping there would be some really cool twist ending to this episode and that’s probably what disappointed me. While laying in a freezing cold fountain, Yayoi realizes that her sister was kidnapped and drowned and then uses the Jigoku Tsuushin on the creep responsible. I guess it was kind of cool how she pulled the string almost immediately. Either way, most of the episode was really good, so I won’t complain about the ending. This was only episode two, so there’s plenty of time for cool twist endings to happen. The ones that existed in the first season were sparse but awesome. Next week’s episode focuses on a cute little girl using the Jigoku Tsuushin. I guess it’s not that weird, since younger children have used it before, but maybe it’s the cutesiness of her voice that surprises me. Anyway, it doesn’t look too interesting, but we’ll see in a week.

Yayoi, our JT user of the day Ai fell in the water while chasing a ball Ren saw Ren investigates Yayoi's case I laughed at this This was a rather depressing episode
