A statue of the Powerpuff Girls Z is going to be unveiled and the girls all wonder to themselves which is going to be in the center. Meanwhile, coincidence leads to Princess, Sedusa and Lady all teaming up against the PPGZ. Specifically, Lady had been defeated and sent flying into Himeko’s mansion. Sakurako was there delivering a massive cake that Himeko ordered, as well as lipstick from Souichirou. It was meant to be a present for Sakurako, but he was too shy to tell her and just left it, leading Sakurako to believe that Himeko accidentally left it there. (I’m guessing Sakurako was able to transform again because she was jealous of the PPGZ, since Souichirou had changed the subject to how much he liked them when talking to her earlier.) Anyway, they fight against each other first, but due to their mutual dislike for the PPGZ, team up. They manage to destroy the statue, but are eventually defeated and the statue gets rebuilt. It turns out that nobody was in the center.

I couldn’t find last week’s episode, but I’m glad I was able to get a hold of this one. The OP for the 2nd season took some getting used to. I really like it visually, but the song is rather annoying. The ED is decent, but I don’t like it nearly as much as any of the two previous EDs. It was interesting that this ED focused on Kaoru. Since the last one was Momoko’s, I’m guessing the 4th ED will feature Miyako, whenever that one comes out (probably episode 40.) About this actual story, I liked it better than the previous villain team up. That one was way too clichéd, with the constant fighting over who was leader. This time, the villains actually worked well together and it took some effort to beat them. Sedusa is too freaky looking. I was kind of hoping she wouldn’t show up again, but oh well. Can’t think of much else to say, other than that the statue was really quite cute. I kind of assumed that it would be something like that, with no girl getting the spotlight. Oh yes, and No Mojo Jojo = win!
