While playing video games with Nagi, Hayate comments about his excitement of living in such a large house with a beautiful girl. When he specifies that this girl is Maria though, Nagi gets mad and beats him in the game. She also threatens him not to touch Maria. The next day, Hayate goes to wake up Nagi and discovers that there’s a tiger on her bed. He’s very freaked out over this, but Nagi doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with it, saying that she always sleeps with Tama. Krause, the main Butler, was underneath the bed. According to him, if Nagi wants to think of Tama as a simple house cat, then that’s just what he is. However, Hayate is right in thinking that it’s dangerous. Apparently, Tama only listens to Nagi and Maria, but he’s attacked Krause before. Now, he does this again. Then Tama goes after Hayate, but Nagi stops him, saying that he shouldn’t play rough in the house. Instead, they go to the garden, and start to fight. Krause thinks that if Hayate can’t defeat Tama then the should lose his position. Nagi agrees to this. It doesn’t matter though, because Mari soon shows up and is angry to see the damage to her garden. She assumes that Krause and Nagi were responsible and sends them away, so she can take care of Hayate’s wounds. Maria explains to Hayate that Nagi found Tama while in Africa and took him home. She also spoiled him, so now he can’t live anywhere else. However, his life changed after meeting Nagi, as did Hayate’s. Hayate agrees that he has a lot in common with Tama, but the tiger tells him that they’re not in the same league, because Hayate is poor. He also warns not to tell anyone that he can talk. Later, Krause and Nagi argue over the use of Hayate. Krause wants to get rid of him, but according to Nagi, Hayate is powerful and can transform himself. Hayate denies this though. Krause plans to give Hayate another test, and Nagi is very confident that Hayate will protect her. After speaking with Maria again, Hayate learns that Nagi often isn’t expressive, and this was especially true when her mother died. However, she became much more cheerful after Hayate saved her. Soon, Hayate is given his test. He must fight KaigoRobo8, a butler robot. Nagi insults the robot, which attacks her, but Hayate saves her. Using silverware and a wire, he manages to defeat KaigoRobo8, but is electrocuted in the process. Krause has to pass him though. When Hayate wakes up, he apologizes for the damage he caused. Nagi tells him that rooms can be replaced, but he can’t. Time skips to a battle against another robot.

Very interesting. This show is so on crack, but it serves it’s purpose in entertaining me with it’s mindlessness. Tama is such an awesome character. I didn’t expect him to be able to talk. He’s also so cute. The funniest part this week was seeing Hayate’s reaction to finding Tama in Nagi’s bed. Yeah, he’s right in thinking that’s freaky. Tama isn’t really dangerous though, because he actually has a personality of his own. He just seems to only like women. Or maybe, he just has a grudge against butlers. Krause is fairly annoying so far, but there’s something about him a like. I could see his annoying side over-ruling that in the future though. I wonder if maybe he’s a villain or something, because it seems that other robots are attacking Nagi and Hayate in their future. I don’t know if he was the one who sent them out though. He definitely doesn’t like Hayate for some reason though, so I suspect he’ll still try to continue to get rid of him. Next week, a new girl gets introduced. I wonder if this is going to turn into a harem.
