Yume and Otome find out that Yoshiyuki left for school early. When they discover Akane and Anzu trying to get Yoshiyuki and Koko to hold hands, they figure out that the two are a couple now. Later, Yoshiyuki plans to eat lunch with Koko, but Suginami convinces him to explore an underground area of the school first. There, they discover a blue-haired girl sleeping in a capsule. Yoshiyuki accidentally presses a button, which causes an alarm to go off and wakes the girl up. The girl, Minatsu, is angry and him for this. She attacks him, and also expresses her hate for bananas and humans. Mizukoshi, a teacher and part of the laboratory staff, shows up due to the alarm going off. She explains that Minatsu is a robot and tells the two boys to return to class. They do so, but Yoshiyuki missed havign luch with Koko. He’s able to stay attentive during class though, because the subject is robots. He’s curious as to whether robots can have human emotions, because Minatsu seemed to. The next day, Minatsu is going to start school, and Mizukoshi thinks Yoshiyuki should become her friend. He also gets her manual to learn, but because of this, misses having lunch with Koko again. He takes Koko out, and they sit on a bench for a while. He tries to touch her hand, but they’re both too embarrassed by this. Later, they run into Minatsu and Yume. Yume and Koko are both surprised to learn that Yoshiyuki knows Minatsu. The awkward moment is interrupted when Minatsu starts overheating, so Yoshiyuki runs off with her. it turns out that she needs the bananamin from bananas every eight hours. Yoshiyuki goes to find some, and winds up stealing choco-banana’s from Akane and Anzu. This help Minatsu, and while she still doesn’t like banana’s the chocolate made them somewhat better. She also apologizes to him. Soon, everyone else catches up to them and wants to know what’s going on.

What is with bananas and anime? Okay, I know they’re used almost exclusively for fanservice, but it just looks so ridiculous. To go along with Miharu, Miharu and Yuuna, now we have Minatsu, a tsundere robot who doesn’t even like bananas, but is forced to eat them all the time. I’m surprised she didn’t have pink hair. This was a fairly amusing episode, even if it did seem a bit fillerish. I mean, it’s important that they introduced a new charatcer, but Minatsu has an even lesser chance of getting Yoshiyuki than Koko. The one scene where they were on the bench only added more proof to this. They don’t even seem that comfortable around eachother. Plus, if Yoshiyuki keeps on forgetting about his plans with Koko for other things, she’ll probably end up getting upset with him. Since he’ll probably need to spend time with all the girls, I can see Koko being neglected a lot more in the future. Then we’ll see which sister get to win. I’m leaning more towards Yume at the moment, especially because Otome still is barely in the show.
