Mashiro agrees to let Arika and Nina hold a Mai battle at the coronation. To prepare for the battle, Arika gets some sort of fluid put into her so she can fuse with her Robe. However, she’ll only be able to do this once because she doesn’t have the earring that the other Otomes have. Youko says that she won’t be able to get one until she’s accepted into the school. Later, Sergei finds her singing and makes fun of her. Eventually it’s time for the coronation and large amounts of people arrive, including someone from Black Valley, who’s definitely up to no good. Luckily, Shizuru finds him and engages him in battle. Arika and Nina begin their fight. Nina clearly has the upper hand, but Arika refuses to give up. Unfortunately, their fight is delayed, as they wind up knocking down a part of the castle, which is about to crush some of their audience.

I really enjoyed this episode but probably would’ve liked it more if I wasn’t distracted by things going on in my house. ^_^; Putting that aside though, this was still awesome. I liked Arika and Nina’s battle. If this is the kind of action to come then this series will probably continue to be enjoyable. I’m also interested in learning more about Sergei. It seems as if he knows a lot more then he’s letting off though. I wonder if he knows who the real princess is, because it seems unlikely that it’s Mashiro at this point. If Nagi doesn’t think Mashiro’s the princess then she probably isn’t. Well, that’s all for now. I hope next week reveals some more information.
